The villa has three potential workspaces: the library nook, the long oak kitchen table, and the covered south-facing terrace looking out over the Marão range.
The location is intentionally remote without being inconvenient: 50 minutes from Porto international airport, 35 minutes from the historic centre of Guimarães, and the centre of Celorico de Basto (cafés, restaurants, supermarket) is a 5-minute drive. The time zone (UTC+0 / UTC+1) overlaps comfortably with the East-Coast morning, all of Europe, and the West-Coast late afternoon.
For longer stays we offer monthly rates with discounted housekeeping and a weekly grocery delivery from a local farm. The sauna, pool and forest trails sit just outside the office window — the antidote to four back-to-back Zoom calls.
